Adoption Grants

We were designed to live life in community.

You may have heard the saying, “it takes a village to raise a child.”  We believe it takes a village, and then some, to adopt a child because adoption is costly! One of the main reasons families do not adopt is because of the financial expense. Prospective adoptive families are tasked with covering agency fees, legal fees, travel expenses, and expectant mother support in addition to the emotional stress the process brings. We believe that, while one family alone may not have tens of thousands of dollars to fund an adoption, the greater Kingdom has more resources collectively than we can fathom. We invite you to support a program that will have eternal reach. We believe that by decreasing the financial burden of adoption, more children will be placed into loving homes.

For Waiting Families

Dwell offers Adoption Assistance Grants to qualified waiting families. This is always contingent on available funding. We support both international and domestic adoption pursuits and want to come alongside you as you work to bring your child home.

A few quick considerations:

  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens and live in one of the following Pennsylvania counties at the time of application: Lycoming, Clinton, Union, Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Sullivan.

  • You may submit the application after completing your home study with a favorable recommendation.

  • Applicants (both husband and wife) must be in good standing and in community with a Christian church.

  • When possible, the completed grant application should be submitted before the placement of a child in your home in order to comply with best practice guidelines.

If you would like to apply for a Dwell Adoption Assistance Grant, please complete our preliminary approval application.

For Donors

You have the power to make an eternal impact. Beyond prayer and support, financial help is the number one thing waiting adoptive families need.

WHEN YOU PARTNER WITH DWELL, YOU HELP OUR FAMILIES FUND THEIR ADOPTIONS.

Dwell’s platform helps to bridge the gap between the families who want to adopt and the children they hope to bring into their loving homes.

We support families pursuing both international and domestic adoption, and we walk alongside them as they build up the community and resources they need.

YOUR GIFT TO OUR ADOPTION FUND WILL BLESS A WAITING FAMILY.

Your support makes a difference. We can’t continue our work without you, and we know more children will be impacted with your help. Your tax-deductible gifts further the mission of raising up foster, adoptive, and kinship families so that children have a safe, loving, forever home in which to dwell.

If you feel led to make a lasting impact, your donation—big or small—can change a life forever.
