We are dedicated to championing the rights and well-being of children in care. We believe every child in care deserves to be seen, heard, loved, and valued. By advocating for their voice and restoring their power of choice, we strive to create a system where every child is empowered, protected, and given the opportunity to thrive. We are committed to defending their dignity and restoring their hope. We intentionally seek a Christ-like love as we work to empower and support foster, adoptive, and kinship families, and we pursue projects that we believe will make an immediate and lasting impact.
Hope Chest
The Hope Chest is Dwell’s foster closet, designed to support foster, adoptive, and kinship families who receive emergency placements of children.
Adoption Grants
Dwell offers year-round, virtual and in-person trauma trainings including Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and Intro to Trauma/Brain Architecture.
Trauma-Informed Training
Domestic and international adoption can be an overwhelming process. Dwell works to put adoption within reach by providing grants to qualified families.
Made To Celebrate!
Made to Celebrate! is dedicated to ensuring that children in care are celebrated on their special day. Each child will receive a specially curated package filled with their birthday wish list items, giving them voice & choice.
Family Support Groups
Fondly referred to as The Dwelling Place, our informal care groups are for foster, adoptive, and kinship caregivers where the only agenda item is confidentiality. Come hang out with other moms and dads who "get it."
